Privacy Policy
ForeRun (“ForeRun,” “we,” “us”) is a calm second brain for parents, operated by Suttlesolution Media LLC. This policy explains what information the app collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The short version
- We collect only what’s needed to run the app’s features. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.
- Your family’s information is private to your account. You can export or delete everything at any time in the app.
- Journal photos stay on your device, they’re never uploaded to our servers.
What we collect
- Account. If you create a shared login, your email address and a password (stored securely by our authentication provider). You can use ForeRun without an email until you set up partner sharing or subscribe.
- Household & children. Details you choose to add, children’s names and birthdays, feeding methods, dietary restrictions and allergies, medications and reminder times, which you provide as the child’s parent or guardian.
- Activity in the app. Things you create: reminders, journal entries, lists, meal plans, chores, points, and newborn-care logs (feeds, diapers, sleep).
- Location. If you enter a ZIP code, we use it to show local weather. We don’t collect precise device location.
- Google Calendar- only if you connect it (see below).
How we use your information
Only to provide the app: reminders, planning, food checks, family coordination, and the features you use. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Google Calendar
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, ForeRun:
- reads that day’s events, to show them alongside your day; and
- creates events on your primary calendar only when you choose to- for example, when you add an event from a brain-dump.
Your Google access token is stored on your device. We don’t store the contents of your calendar on our servers. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in Settings, which removes the stored token.
ForeRun’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
AI features
When you use the brain-dump or photo-capture features, the text or image is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to extract a list of items for you to review. It is not stored by us and is not used to train AI models.
Children’s information
ForeRun is designed for parents and caregivers, not for use by children. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Information about a child in the app is provided by you as the parent or legal guardian, and we use it only to provide reminders and records, never for behavioral advertising. You can review, export, and delete this information in the app.
Health information
Some of what you log, feeding and pumping, medications, and newborn care (feeds, diapers, and sleep), may be considered consumer health data. You enter it yourself; we use it only to give you reminders and records, and we never sell it or share it for advertising. You can export or delete it at any time in the app. ForeRun does not provide medical advice; anything clinical should go to your healthcare provider.
Service providers
We share information only with the providers needed to run ForeRun:
- Supabase, secure database and authentication (stores your account data).
- Anthropic, AI processing for the brain-dump and photo features (as described above).
- RevenueCat and Apple, subscription management and billing when you subscribe in the app.
- Stripe, payment processing when you subscribe on our website. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Sentry, crash and error diagnostics to keep the app stable (no personal content is included).
- Google, only if you connect Google Calendar, to read and, when you choose, create events.
These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
How we share
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Retention & deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time in the app (Settings → About & Safety → Delete my account & data). Deleting removes your information from our servers. Disconnecting Google Calendar removes the stored access token from your device.
Security
We use industry-standard measures, encryption in transit, row-level access controls so you only ever see your own household’s data, and encryption of app data at rest on your device.
Changes
We may update this policy as ForeRun evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
